Beginners Lessons / Activities include:

  • Learn how to decorate and prepare your horses for horse shows – plait manes, tails, etc

Intermediate Lessons / Activities include:

  • Walk, trot, canter, small jumps
  • Off-road trekking through river, woodland and fields
  • Take responsibility for your own horse for the week
  • Stable Management
  • Equine basic first aid – cleaning of cuts, grazes and bandaging
  • Know when to call the vet

    Swiss-born drumming instructor, Urs Wenk of Drum Dance Ireland, comes to The Eclipse Centre every 4-8 weeks. Suitable for beginners and intermediate drummers, the workshop will start with a technique primer and then Urs will bring the group gradually through a number of traditional African rhythms. All drums are provided, or feel free to bring your own!

    When:

    • Saturdays… August date to be announced soon!
    • 11.30am-2.30pm(with break – refreshments provided)

    Where:

    • Eclipse Centre Conference Room or Down by the Lake if weather permits.

    Who:

    • Age 15+
