LAUGHTER THERAPY
Laughter truly is the best medicine. As an aerobic exercise, laughter can relieve stress, boost your immune system and increase your confidence. This series of gentle, playful exercises takes about 30 minutes and is guaranteed to produce gales of genuine laughter.
Laughter Therapy is also known as Laughter Yoga. Our Laughter Therapy Facilitator trained under Madan Kataria’s International School of Laughter Yoga.
Research has shown that laughter causes the brain to release endorphins**, which are the body’s “feel good” compounds. And research has shown that even pretend laughter causes endorphins to be released. “Experience has shown me that pretend laughter quickly turns to real laughter, smiles our Local Laughter Guru. “A motto of Laughter Therapy is, ‘Fake It Fake It Till You Make It’!”
